There is nothing like climbing a tree barefoot, with friends!
A few weeks ago I was at the park with my friends Abby and Noel, and we decided to climb trees. I actually got some pictures, so I can now do a much needed picture post.
We got had lots of fun together, and got lots of scrapes and scratches.
We discovered it was easier to climb barefoot.
We come to a tree and Noel says, "lets climb this tree. Lacy how about you go first." So, I climbed the tree and somehow I managed to get stuck. Of course then Noel and Abby decided not to climb the tree after that, and from the safety of the ground, instructed me how to get down. I finally got low enough to jump down, and reached the ground in one piece.
It was a day much laughter, picture taking and scratched arms and knees .
We pretty much climbed every climbable tree at the park, not before our parents had warned us to "be careful."
It was grand adventure!
Like to climb trees?
Been on any sort of adventures recently?
I love climbing tree and going barefoot!
ReplyDeleteHi Lacy! Sounds like quite an adventure! I like climbing trees, as long as I'm not too high up and I'm careful not fall out of the tree. ;) Looks like you and your friends had a great time!
ReplyDeleteWe wouldn't want you falling out of a tree, Hanna. That would not be good:)
DeleteI love climbing trees!!! My most recent adventure was hiking a mountain barefoot. The extra grip was a tremendous advantage, but my feet hurt for days after!
ReplyDeletehahah, lovely Lacy!!! I get stuck every time I climb a tree or anything else for that matter :):) Looks like y'all had a lot of fun!!
ReplyDeleteRocks and trees are things to be climbed. Period. Exclamation mark. (Unless if that tree is brittle and lacking life or the rock happens to be dressed luxuriously in slime) :P Adventures? Well...does chasing a Frisbee into the rising tide over and over count? x-)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had fun!!

Yes agreed. Pretty much anything sturdy is a thing to be climbed:) By all means chasing a frisbee counts! If your gonna go on an adventure...do it fabulously!
