Hi!!!! I'm Lacy...

Thanks for stopping by Puddles and Sunshine!

I'm a 17 year old girl living in the city, although I would not consider my self a city girl.  I try to make the most of life in the city and enjoy bike riding to the store and rollerblading around town.

I have two super cool older brothers and amazing parents.  My mom is my best friend and role model.

We have 12 chickens who are affectionately referred to as "the girls".  They are my babies and I thoroughly enjoy them.  Some day I want to live someplace where I can have horses, a cow, dogs, and of course chickens, essentially a farm. For now though, I have to be and am content with our chickens.

I am a reader and could sit on the couch and read for hours on end. My all time favorite books are World War II historical fiction, however I will read most anything.

I have been named "The Mad Sewer" by my mom.  I have a passion for sewing and often times get carried away and forget everything else in the world. I always have an endless pile of patterns I want to make someday. It is my goal to one day be a professional seamstress making wedding dresses, and have my own sewing and alterations business. I would love to see sewing become a normal part of society again.

I am a perfectionist and notice detail...that being said, I am far from perfect and continually make mistakes.  I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. I stumble daily but the Lord is gracious to me as I strive to follow Him.

I have random thoughts and ideas at random times. Just thought I would throw that out there.

I am a home-school graduate and I'm so thankful to have been home-schooled my entire life.

I love water any shape or form and I would much rather wash dishes than cook a meal. I love the ocean and any type of swimming.  I absolutely love rain!!! The day after it rains when the sun breaks through the clouds I've named a "Honey Crisp Apple Day" Through that I came up with Puddles and Sunshine!

I like all colors bright, bold, and brilliant!!!!

With this blog I seek to honor God, and hopefully amuse, encourage, or inspire my friends and all those who happen to stop by!
